The Cotswold Candle Company
Supporting Cotswold Businesses & Attractions

The Cotswold Candle Company are passionate about The Cotswolds and the beautiful surroundings where we make our handmade products. We believe in supporting other local businesses and promoting the stunning area in where we live. The Cotswolds was famous for being the second largest output of wool before the cloth trade moved to the North of England. It is also named as one of the most outstanding areas of natural beauty in the UK, where unspoilt villages and market towns attract thousands of visitors every year. The Cotswolds stretches over several counties, including Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire and Wiltshire and has a population of approximately 139,000 people.

Many of the market towns were famous for their market squares where sheep were traded at weekly markets. The towns are typical of the beautiful honey-coloured Cotswold stone, the pale-yellow limestone that is typical for this area. The Cotswolds have many well-known attractions including The Cotswold Farm Park owned by TV celebrity Adam Henson, The Cotswold Wildlife Park in Burford, Blenheim Palace in Woodstock and many more interesting and historical places. The Cotswold rolling hills spread across the whole of The Cotswolds, with small chocolate box villages with thatched cottages, nestling between. The Cotswold woodlands is a unique beauty in itself where bluebell woods carpet the land and meandering streams trickle past bursting banks of daffodils and snowdrops. The Cotswolds is idyllic and one of the most beautiful places to live. We are proud to have lived here our whole lives and never forget how lucky we are.
